Joe Slucher is running a contest to give one lucky writer a fully illustrated, really cool cover. Of course I plan to enter. He does mostly fantasy work, but is also looking to branch out into new areas.

Of course, I could try to stretch his talents and have him do a cozy cover rather than get him to do a gargoyle for me...

I know nothing Joe Slucher except the images displayed on the web site, but dude, those are good. Like, really good. If I had something in need of illustration right now I would totally be entering that contest.

It doesn't get any more professional that Joe. He's been in the industry for years. He did a lot of work in the gaming field and there's a couple of covers he worked on in his deviantart portfolio.

Nancy, I am sure you could invent a story to go with your dream illustration. I know you have it in you!
