Yep we have had it in USA version since 9.0, I think. It is rather lackluster and I placed it inside my folder for Apple apps I rarely, if ever, use. I call it the Folder of Misfit Apps.

Looks as if the notification sound bug might just have been fixed in 9.1 . No missed sounds so far...

I have figured it out I use bluetooth with my hearing aids and that disables the sound for some reason.

Yes, it does. When I have my iPhone connected to the BT in my car I've noticed the same thing.

The Game Center pop up appears when you start a game app that supports Game Center. I suspect that the number of times the popup appears is limited, but because I shut down my devices at night the counter is reset each morning.

FLorenceArt--Prior to upgrading to ios 9 (I'm pretty sure it was with the ios 7 upgrade), I would see the request to log in to game center when I started my Sukoko game three times--after cancelling out of it three times it went away--seemingly for good. But, I don't completely shut down my iPad or iPhone--just let them go to sleep.

Then with the update to ios 9, I would continue to see the game center log in screen many many times (probably 10 or more) before it would finally stop appearing. Then suddenly it would start appearing again. Now, with the latest update to 9.1, I saw the game center log in request three times--cancelling out each time and then it went away. Hasn't been back yet, so I've got my fingers crossed that I won't see it again. It is very annoying, I enjoy a solo game of Sudoko every once in a while, but have no desire at all to "compete" with total strangers through "game center"!

Thank you, that's good news! I will probably update to 9.1 soon, maybe today.

Something similar happened with the iOS 8 upgrade I think. At the time I gave up and registered to the Game Center, only to find that the harassment didn't stop! Now every time I started a game app, a "welcome username" popup appeared and prevented me from playing for a second or two! Now, after every upgrade I need to log off the Game Center again. I hate that thing.

We have three iOS devices, an IPhone 6+, an Air and a Mini 2. I'm about to upgrade my iPhone to 9.1 but does anyone have experience of an Air and a Mini 2?

They both originally came with 7 so I'm not sure if they'll take 9 okay.

My iPad Air originally had 7 and the only thing I've noticed on 9.1 is a slight lag playing pool, apart from that it runs 9.1 OK.

iTunes is also used to manage iPods/Nano and such....that is how I get audiobooks on to my Nano. Don't think moving everything to iBooks would help me.
