I am not making any recomendation as I do not know the books or author but if this is your genre it looks like a good deal. I have not listened to or read this book, but I am familiar with the historical event described in the audiobook/book. It is fascinating and thought-provoking on several different levels.

Ah, thank you. I happened upon that on Goodreads yesterday, but couldn't find it on Amazon or Audible. It's not on Audible UK (yet?), but I was able to pre-order it for free from Audible.com.

Argghh!

I really feel badly about that. It couldn't have been marked down for very long. I checked ereaderiq, and it showed, if I interpreted the graph correctly, that it lasted for 24 hours. I posted it as soon as I saw it, but it must have been near the end of the 24 hours.

But I've got good news. Sort of. I noticed that this book has been marked down numerous times recently, so it very well may be marked down again soon. Too, some of the markdowns of the ebook have been to $1.99, instead of $2.99 as it was this time. You may be aware of it, but at ereaderiq (and probably other websites) you can request an alert when the price drops to a target price that you choose. I'll also keep my eyes open for it to drop again, and post that information when it does.
