There is no existing patch to re-enable the ratings for sideloaded books. The ratings are now tied into reviews and are reported on the Kobo website, used in the device bookstore, etc. and I don't know if it is possible enter/display the rating seperately from all that.

Hi my friends,

Do you know if the bug on the refresh that appears on every pages when we use fullscreen mode will be fixed in the next firmware ("3.18.1" ?)

We have no way of knowing what will be fixed or not. The problem is that fullscreen reading is not supported so there is a chance it will never be fixed.

If this issue is related to something else in the firmware then chances are it will be fixed. But we won't know for sure until a new firmware is released. Until then, if this gets sorted is something that is just guesswork.

Hi guys,

I just notice a bug that appears in the sudoku game. When you select a new game with the drop-down list and start playing, a part of the dropdown stay visible on the screen. Seems that they missed a full refresh...

I notice that on my Glo but I'm not sure it's specifically related to 3.18.0

could you confirm this bug (or not) on your device?

I feel a war coming on about calling it a bug because the Sudoku isn't listed as a feature , but there are problems with the refresh of 3.18 in other conditions to.
I don't know if Kobo will fix it because they "erased" the games from the normal menu's,it is only available if you used them in the past and still have the tile on your start screen..

Wow, I didn't even know that they remove it. Thanks for the info!

I definitely like playing this little game, so, I'll keep it on my homepage as long as possible

Only chess was removed, all the other games are still accessible from the Beta Features menu.

Ehh.. nope... Maybe on a normal Glo it is, but the Glo HD only have the internet browser in the beta features menu.

It's only the Glo HD that is missing the games. My other devices still have them. Of course, I don't have a Touch 2 to check.

So according to others who are trustworthy, sudoku is still in the betamenu so you don't have to be afraid (yet) and only chess is removed (but there are patches to get it back until now)
For as far as I know the chess disappeared from 3.15 and higher.
There are no games in the beta options menu in the Glo HD at all. (thats why I thought they are all removed)
Available or not,there are some "problems" with refresh options with full screen reading so maybe it's related.
On the other hand,with bookreading it seems to be improved.. but double refreshes are reported to, read post one of this topic about the refreshes.
I can't test to see if you follow the "guide" that causes the "full screen reading bug" also destroys the screen while playing Sudoku because I can't access the games at all.

Remove collection has a small (Dutch) translation error in the "are you sure" confirmation popup box.
It says: Weet je zeker dat je de verzamling (name of the collection) uit je bibliotheek wilt verwijderen ?

An E is missing ,the word is not verzamling but verzameling.

well, i don't know if it isn't in the firmware at all (like the chess that is only hidden) and can be activated,or not there at all.. i never used the games. If it is there I guess nobody has taken the troubles to find a way to enable them again... I never understood why there must be games in an e-reader..it does remind me of an old mediaplayer who also have games in it..maybe the idea, nothing to stream/read so lets play ?
