You might, but I don't. I don't eat mystery meat. Well, in the case of sausage, there's not much mystery--they sweep the floor to make it. I like the taste of it, but I can't stand to eat it because of knowing that.

UPDATE: Nevermind. I see that you make the sausage yourself, and you use good-quality beef, that you obtain yourself, to make it. That would be nice.

What you are talking about is the recipe that shows in the preview to the book, in case anyone is wondering. So, three free recipes if you count that recipe.

There is(are) no bonus recipe(s) in the first book, because the author talks about herself and her family and stuff through the whole preview. ha

But you can preview the print book and see recipes...

I had a review copy (limited time version) and thought it was pretty good. Some recipes have two versions, one for those with access to asian markets and another for those with "regular grocery stores"....

Thanks. I think that I remember that being mentioned somewhere in this forum a while back, but I had forgotten. Mobilereaders have so much awesome knowledge!

Here in this backwater where I live, there aren't any Asian markets, that I know of. Many people have access to some Asian markets nowadays, though, due to the burgeoning number of businesses doing business online. One such business that I ran across recently that looks pretty good is HMart. They even offer free delivery within Manhattan, New York.

It literally smelled like the freezer failed. The smell was all over the store.

Reminds me of a few years ago when I was touring, with a realtor, a house that was for sale. From the time that I went in there, there was this horrible smell. There was no electricity in the house and it was completely empty except for one thing--a freezer in the garage. As we got closer and closer to the garage, the strength of the smell increased. There had to have been something in the freezer that had rotted. If the smell was that bad with the freezer hermetically sealed (by the magnetic seals around the door(s)), I can't imagine what it would have been like with the door(s) open! I suspect that the previous owners/tenants knew about the problem and just decided to leave it for someone else to deal with.

Too bad, too, because I liked the house itself. But I didn't even make an offer on it. I'm sure that the smell went away eventually--after the freezer was removed--but I just couldn't disassociate the house from that awful smell!

Reminds me of how awful the Fulton Fish Market used to smell at the end of the workday, when it was located in lower Manhattan.
