Thanks for the link. If anyone happens to see a really good deal on a Blue Snowball (or Yeti) condenser microphone let me know. Right now the Snowball can be had for 50 with no extras (just about every site), shipping included. (The extras like a headphone and shock and stuff run the price up to 100). So a good price would be anything under that by 10 or more dollars...

The mic is book-related technology. Even if it wasn't, you could still add it to your wishlist and briefly discuss it. I have this notice in the OP of the BF thread:

Even though BF is a US thing, it's hard to maintain two threads offering duplicate deals on most of the offers during this time frame or having to deal with an offer posted in one thread and not the other, with the possibility of missing a deal because both threads weren't checked.

At one time, BF took place on the Friday after Thanksgiving with sales continuing through Saturday and Sunday. Then Cyber Monday crept into the mix. Slowly, more days were added and now it's pretty much most of November and December.

The retailers have gone crazy with the number of sales they're now offering; some of which have better offers than those on BF itself. It's now possible for many people to do their entire BF shopping online on Thanksgiving morning or earlier.

By all means, feel free to post offers from any country in the BF thread

While Black Friday is a US centric event, the other countries are starting to get in in it. Last year (and possibly before that) Australia had something similar at the same time on the online stores, even though we don't have Thanksgiving.

Unfortunately, since we don't have Thanksgiving to act as a gatekeeper, Christmas decorations are starting to show up in the physical stores.
