FREE/BARGAIN - Audiobooks - 2015

I got the Ford free book. I had to be persistent with the audible website because it told me several times the title wasn't available and one time even added to my cart at full price. However, after closing and reloading the page several times I was able to get it for free. I suspect there are a lot of people hitting it at the same time causing the errors.

A call to CS said the book was not available in Washington but was available in New Jersey. Since when did states get geo-restrictions says I? Since always says CS rep.

A couple more tries and I got the book in my cart with the promo code applied, but it didn't work. I copied the code from the URL like you did (thanks), applied it, and finally got the book in my geo-restricted state. This promo has bugs that need to be worked out.

Audible is such a pain to work with. It's hard to believe that they're an Amazon company.

Update: after checking my purchase history, it turns out that I was charged $26+ for the book. Back to CS again to get the charge reversed. They returned the book and had me repeat the purchase again. After several attempts to get the promo code applied, I was finally able to get the book for free.

Wow, that's quite a headache. Thankfully mine worked just an easily as all the other Ford books have and it was in my account (for $0.00) in a few clicks.

Lucky you. I don't recall having any problems with previous Ford freebies.

It tried to use a credit when I bought it; I kept re-trying until I found the combination that worked for me and checked my e-mail afterward to make sure there was no monkey business.

I had a similar experience to yours with the last Ford freebie, and had to call CS to get it resolved. This time, at least the manual copy and paste worked, and I confirmed that I was not charged for it.

Both the ebook, at Amazon, and the audiobook, at Audible, have very high ratings, but there aren't many of them at the present time.

Speaking of Audible, the audiobook is $2.95 there. It's 59 minutes long at Audible--I suppose that the free audiobook at NoiseTrade is the same as at Audible.

Oh, I said that the audiobook is free. Well, it is, but it isn't. Many of you are familiar with how these things work at NoiseTrade--they encourage you to leave a tip, but if you don't you can still get the book or audiobook or whatever.
