Just updated my reader a few hours ago. It seems to work OK but I'm experiencing quite a few messages concerning Google play services and gapps having stopped. I wonder if a reset would solve it.

Updated some days ago with no problems.
But consider that i preventively have wiped both caches and user data, before reflashing.
And i don't have a lot of installed apps/data on my T68 so wiping it is not a PIA.

Got it working now. I must have hurried or overlooked something, because a first reset got rid of the error messages mentioned above, but Google store started giving me odd error messages. A second reset returned things to near normal. After spending some time in the menus, I think I now have most of my prefs the way I want them. I swear some of those bits did not like being told to move their state

Maybe.... maybe it is a bit more precise to the touch, but to perfectly and brutally honest, I'm one who never experienced any of the problems reported by other users, and I've wondered at times, what, apart from a couple of language files, has been added or improved in the various updates. The consistent lack of a change-log does not help much either.

P.S. Some stuff, like getting the T68 to change between full screen and non full screen by long tapping the top of my screen actually seems broken to me now. I cannot entirely rule out that this is caused by user error.....

I'm running 1.7.3 on the M96 and I think it's fine. I noticed that a couple of annoying bugs in Neoreader were fixed since 1.7.0. However, I don't know how it works with the T68.

I've updated my T68 today, so far with no nasty surprises. As usual, the update is undocumented so the customer is left to his/her own devices regarding what has changed.

Some things I've noticed, and I hasten to add that I'm not exactly sure when the changes were introduced; June update or August update 2015;

the manual is now v. 1.6. I don't know how long this version has been available, my last version was 1.3. ver. 1.6 is now one page longer but a very quick comparison between my two versions didn't reveal any changes.

Prior update from June 2015 introduced a strange new symbol in the menu bar; a sort of <> icon which when taping on it toggles between the <> and +-. I've no idea why, or what it's supposed to do.

It seems to me that some functionality is being moved around: In previous versions I'd got used to being able to quick tap and get the menu up in the bottom of the screen, then selecting the dictionary icon and tapping the word I wanted looked up. The way it is set up now, I have to use the hardware menu button to get as menu that fills most of the screen, then select dictionary from that menu, the highligt the word I want to look up.

Additionally, I was used to being able to long tap my screen to toggle between full screen reading mode and calling up the system top menu/notification bar. Not so any longer; The hardware menu button has to be pushed in order to bring up that aforementioned menu where full screen mode can be toggled on and off.

Nope. It porked my Total Commander, which I had to reinstall and reconfigure to access my LAN.

Can someone please tell me what exactly the difference is between T86ML and T68 mentioned on this website?
Using Google Translate, it seems to indicate it is risky / dangerous to use the wrong one...

I updated my T68 a couple of days ago and I am very pleased. Previous versions of the software were unusable and I had to switch to Booxtor's firmware. Specifically, the reader would reindex books every time I started, even if I added no books. It doesn't do that anymore

The page turn button now work more consistently in external apps. Now I don't have to hit previous page to go the the next page. If you tap the screen it still is off a little from where you actually touched. It's as bad as ever. Booxtor's firmware was better in this regard.
