So, did mylcd 1.0 have less complications and therefore less issues of this sort?

One thing is that the Windows version at least did work... The Linux version doesn't work.

Also, KUAL is keyboard-less...
Ah, no - that is not intended, that is a trouble report.

KUAL was designed, tested and has been used on all models other that the K1.
(The K1 is not supported, everything else is.)

Thanks NiLuJe. My bad.

Thanks both you and knc1, you two caught me right on the spot back to mylcd issue, it's not KUAL/LP issue, it might be rooted at mylcd itself / kernel etc.

Or toolchain used,
Or your specific device.

I mention that it may be local to your device, because you also posted that the set of modules we (twobob and I) built for the DXG did not work on your device.

But I see that twobob did test them on his DXG (I didn't have one at the time):

The modules specific to your DXG are attached at this post:

NOT connect usb, "boot dxg, landscape dxg, launchpad with I (press dxg's up key then i key to input I)", see if dxg will reboot? If still rebooting, change i.sh to "dmesg > d.log; insmod g_android.ko", and post the log and let me see what is the problem of the ko.

And perhaps try it without that custom contrast module loaded.

Tried it once again to no avail. For me having contrast module is priority and a necessity and as knc1 said, it seems mylcd has conflict with it... As a side effect of running i.sh, obviously USBnet gets disabled, and even connecting USB cable to DXG doesn't make LED lit anymore till I restart.

Unfortunately, for the next 2-3 weeks, I'm bound to Windows, so can't further do testing in Linux.

As it stands, for now, mylcd v2.0 has a few drawbacks/requirements that takes too much away from my experience.

Well, as a quick update, it seems there is a conflict between contrast and mylcd2. At least for now, I have to abandon using mylcd2 as contrast has priority for me.
