This version should be hitting my OverDrive account in the next week. I shall have to open it on a tablet to get the full effect of the cover art! The only OverDrive audiobook available to me is the Smollett translation and I thought I'd go with something a little more modern.

Before listening to many audiobooks I probably would've agreed with you. However now that I'm listening to them regularly and have listened to a few badly narrated ones, I'd say the narration is just as if not more important.

I agree. Good narration can't save a bad book, but bad narration will ruin a good book.
