A really bad sports related book? Sure thing. All of 'em. Every one I've looked at. The ones about dart throwing. The one I read about beer drinking games (I've forgotten the title). I would go on but this ain't The Lounge. So perhaps I'll say I don't read such things and skedaddle.

I already mentioned "The Iron Tree," but I remember reading a spectacularly bad book in Rome called "The Double Eagle." It was poorly modeled after the DaVinci Code, so I'll let your mind wander on that one.

But the parents claims were that this was an establishment of Wicca and that by allowing it, they (the schools) were endorsing a religion.

The schools where this happened basically just refused to fight it, and pulled it off their reading lists.

Sorry, are we still talking about Harry Potter? Have they read the books? Do they know the first thing about Wicca? Are the Narnia books pulled too?

Dow you say that they do not realize that terms like magic and witches can have different meaning depending on context? I do not really believe that you can be upset by the actual word and not care about the meaning of the word.
