Just an FYI to anyone that's considering the Lenovo, they've been busted twice this year for unsavory behavior. The first time, they were caught installing software that did a man-in-the-middle attack that broke https connections for every website, using a software called Superfish. It was BAD. Most recently, they've been caught using a feature in the hardware firmware to force-reinstall crapware onto the laptop even if you do a clean install from your own media. It also will reinstall it each reboot if you uninstall the software.

They claim to have stopped both practices, although there's probably still some PCs out in the market with the force-reinstall stuff still on them. If you get one of the laptops, grab the Superfish Removal Tool from Lenovo's site and run it just to make sure that isn't on it. Also check the EFF's page on removal for how to remove the certificate from your browsers. I know at one point Lenovo's removal tool didn't remove the bogus certificates, and they're a big danger. For the other one, you may need to update the firmware on the laptop. Check this page for more info. It looks like all three Lenovo laptops in the sale are potentially affected. Just depends on if they were manufactured after June or earlier.

I wish I had $10 I get another set of those earbuds in a heartbeat. They are all I use now. They fit perfectly and are great for keeping out noise.
