I second that opinion about nvidia. At least the update that gave me headaches in the past was an optional one that I foolishly chose to install.

And speaking about updates, my PC updated again when I restarted it yesterday. It may be just a coincidence, but now Chrome and Firefox both open as quickly as ever. The CEO of Firefox had been complaining of Windows 10 not playing fair with non-Microsoft browsers. I don't know how valid the criticism was/is, and how much may have been by design, but things are looking better from here.

That's good news. I don't think it was by design; I think it was more likely an issue with particular configurations or something slowing down certain types of things (extension code) on load (maybe Defender involved?).

Speaking of Firefox, the latest version added a setting that hijacks Windows search so that it will use whatever is set to default in Firefox. Cortana can now Google.

Yeah, I used it long enough to see how it worked, but most of the features aren't of any use to me. Also, if I need my computer to do something, chances are, I need to be in front of it anyway so it's faster to do it myself.

It's possible that I might find it more useful on my Venue from time to time, though. I haven't yet, but it could happen.

My Echo, on the other hand, I talk to more than my roommate on some days.

Process to enable God Mode in Windows 10

It is really easy to enable the God Mode in Windows 10. To do this, right-click on the desktop and then click on New > Folder.

Now, copy and paste the following as a folder name:
GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

Once you do this, the folder icon will change to a control panel icon. Now to access all of your Windows 10 settings from one place, just double-click on it.

Tip: Instead of naming this folder "God Mode," you can rename it to anything. To do this, just change the text before the period, and you're good to go. For example, you can change the name to "All Settings" or anything else.
