I'm deciding between the accase:
http://www.amazon.com/Kindle-Voyage-...dp/B00NSBYPP4/ (I like the stitching.) and the fintie: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PFIC9NI/..._encoding=UTF8 (I like the brown color.) Anyone have an opinion that might break the tie? Last edited by tlc; 08-20-2015 at 08:34 AM. Reason: wrong link |

The Fintie is the lightest but the colours are not as rich in real life, my purple was a dull quite drab colour and it has a slight tendency for the front cover to move across the front of the Voyage, I.e not close securely. The texture of the outer is not completely smooth. The Accase is a thicker more substantial case but the colour was similar to the picture. The cover is a smooth outer texture. Personally I'd buy the Accase. |

I'm using this Fintie Kindle Voyage Slim Fit Folio for my Voyage:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o00_s00 I haven't had any issues until yesterday. I was sitting down at a table and put my Kindle down flat on the table with the cover all the way folded back so that the Kindle was sitting on top of it. The kindle then started to go into sleep mode/wake up/go into sleep mode again etc. I had to pick it up and move the cover away from the back. I guess it detected the magnet from the other side. I tried to replicate that later on in the day but it didn't seem to happen again. What gives? Is there a special circumstance of laying my Kindle flat down with the cover like that? Metal table at Starbucks? Some other factor? Anyone experience this with their covers? |

For French users:
I bought that one: http://www.amazon.fr/dp/B010LVSZ7W/ It's exactly like the Swees, except that there is a light embossed text on it: "kindle". It took 2-3 weeks to come from China. It's of very high quality and I'm very happy with it. The dark blue is beautiful. I had a hard time to find it on Amazon France... |

I got the premium leather origami case and it's divine. Love the smell of it!
Only one weird thing - If the case is open and magnetically stuck to the back and then the Voyage goes to sleep, is there no way to wake it up without pulling the top of the case off the back to press the button? |

The only other way is to close and re-open the cover.

Oh well. Thanks. It's not a big deal; I just wanted to make sure there wasn't some way without moving the case.

Really makes you wonder what they were thinking. If the button on the back were lower, it wouldn't be such a problem with the Origami case. A small magnet touched to the bezel at the bottom right will turn it back on. Easier for me than getting to the button or unfolding and refolding the cover. ymmv

Well, I’ve had my Voyage for a couple of weeks now and I must say that I love it. I ended up getting 2 cases - an Aacase shell case and a Fintie folio case. I tried both of them out and right now I prefer the shell case, so that’s where the Voyage is currently living. It’s very much slimmer than the folio case (and a bit lighter as well).
That being said, I do miss a flip-style case as I had on my previous 2 Kindles. The book-style cases are less comfortable for me while reading in bed - now, I have to support the weight of the Kindle on my little finger, while previously I just hung it over my forefinger and supported the weight on the palm of my hand. While I still think the Amazon flip case is overpriced, I might consider it if I ever need to replace the ones I have. |

Is there anyone using a case that does not cover the screen? So only the body?
I have been looking around and have not been able to find one yet. |
