Yes I did mean appalling. and even that case would have a magnetic closure.

the only ones that don't have a magnetic closure that i know of are the Belkin or Incipio official cases that they made for the Voyage as they don't have sleep wake, at least I know the Belkin don't.

Ah... I see I might not have been clear enough regarding my requirements. I do want the case to have auto-wake, and I do want to have it close magnetically. My KPW1 case has both, and the magnets are built into the case.

What I don't want is this:

- Metal closure
- Closing tab
- Protrusions

One of the cases you linked also 'stops' just around the lower right hand corner, which I don't like; it digs into the palm of my hand. I have had such a case for the KPW1 and gave it away. The other, looking very similar, has corners all the way round, but it doesn't have a cutout for the back button...

I think they all would have the cut out, just maybe the picture isn't showing it. You could ask the seller, or just take a look on ebay, there's quite a lot on there.

I think the Accase you found or the Moko one on this link are the best i can find on ebay for you. its Forefront that do the origami case you need to avoid.,

It looks like the Moko origami case is the same one as the Forefront one, though the seller may of course have a much better reputation. It looks like the Accase is the non-Origami version of the Moko. They have the same looks to their back, and the same sort of closure on the right hand side.

I can recommend the Accase as I have that case, and Moko quality is usually very good. Forefront are probably cheaper than Moko but just be careful and check out the case thoroughly if you buy from Forefront.

I have the Fintie smartshell case for my voyage--and I like it a lot. It meets all your requirements--has magnets for smart on/off and keeping the case closed but does not have the metal closure, a closing tab, or any protrusions.

I found a good looking case while browsing the sale isle at Walmart, but couldn't locate it online. Will have to go back to the B&M store.

Heh That Fintie looks exactly like the non-origami versioni of the ForeFront, the Moko, and the Accase mentioned earlier.

Strange though... on all pictures, this case has a rim at the top, except for the last one, where it shows the back of the case. There, it seems to have the two top corners sticking out, without a rim for the top.

What is actually true?

The picture of the back is accurate--at least for my case. There is a rim going around the corners at the top--but the top itself is rimless.

I have Fintie as well, it covers the sides and corners, like the Swees, but not the bottom and the top. The only case I've seen that goes around most of the Voyage is the Omoton. I hated the Omoton as it was a bugger to get off, it's a lovely case if you never ever want to get the Voyage out of it

I am quite happy with my Omoton's. The only thing that is bad is durability - it wears out pretty easy on the fold from opening and closing and from having it folded back all the way. My cover only has scuff marks, but my wife's has big tears in the material after only a half year use. Can't really complain for the price of the cover as she wore out the official Amazon cover for her PW1 within a year.

Any idea if the Fintie or Swees covers appear to be made any rougher than the Omoton? Or are they about the same when it comes to outside material - and it wouldn't matter with which to replace it?

The Swess is a smooth feel to the outside and a nice blackish smooth felt feel on the inside and its one of the cheapest cases you can by if you get it from the China sellers. The Fintie is the thinnest case and it has a rough outside feel like the Omoton but I think the Swiss is better made. Of all the case I've had the Accase is the best made, it's a bit thicker and more substantial but the Swess is the best value.
