Can confirm for you - there are no settings for Quiet Hours on Win10 beyond enabling/disabling in action center. Team is aware of feature request and tracking

dekperez why do you need a DVD won't a USB stick work? I've created one and used it twice, I've done a system restore back to 8 and loaded 10 twice from mine.

Yeah, I can turn it on or off, but always comes up 'off' when I boot up in the morning (and as I said, no place to set the hours/on/off times).

FYI:


Just tried shutting down the desktop and powering back up (it's current 3:30 PM) and when it came up notifications are disabled i.e. quiet hours are in effect).

I have to click the quiet-hours button (to turn quiet hours on) and then click it off to get it normal - i.e. displaying notifications.

Laptop doesn't do it. It come up after shutdown with Notifications enabled.

Laptop is Win 10 Home
Desktop is Win 10 Pro

If anybody has an ACTUAL METHOD THAT WILL WORK TO GET THIS *&^%$#@ Media Creation Tool to work so I can create a DVD, please put it in here...

We have had no problem (apart from one need to retry which then worked) burning a few DVDs with the Media Creation Tool and that without kicking any puppies . So it does work.

I have had no need to look at the suggestions people have been making on other sites but in case not mentioned have you tried using the tool when most of the populated world is offline e.g. around 12 hours ahead of Universal Time?

I tried the nextPVR using the info in the article above and while it did work I was less than happy with the way it worked and the mention in the article of the guide updates was one, it took ages to download the guide information and appeared to be only partially there.

I rolled back. May try other PVR setups later. If anyone gets something going to replace Windows Media Center for watching/recording live TV please let me know.
