DHL --> sent problem

Greetings to all

Someone had a problem with sending the reader purchased at Waterstones?
buy 2 sony prs505 but only received one
They say that they are studying but it took a few days waiting
buy one reader 2 months ago and arrived perfectly
but this time to buy 2 with DHL sent only get one
I'm sad because i can not deliver the presents of Christmas

That's bad. Perhaps they did not expect someone to order two at the same time?

The order was made correctly, i paid 470l, and i received it as we had agreed in my house, but had one in the box

2 readers and transport 472 € delivered between 8 and 10 days
(but only one received)

That sounds a bit expensive! According to waterstones http://www.waterstones.com/waterston...do?sku=6337796 1 reader is 194GBP (~ 202€) and the shipping is "supposed" to be just 4GBP (I don't know if that'll work though). so it should be just 198GBP (207€)

What shipping method did you use?

Shipping & Handing: GBP 22.97

Total: GBP 410.97

but i pay 470€, i don´t know why i paid 470€
but i will be happy if receive the reader in my house soon

this is my first post here. I'm from Spain too and I'm waiting for an Sony eReader from Waterstones too. I read it takes 4 to 10 days to get here. Now is 17 (12 business days) and no clue.
I called them and a kind girl told me to wait till January the 15th to call back due to Christmas eve

This can be normal but I asked her a tracking number (overseas land mail) and she told me they don't have one!. And what happens if the item doesn't arrive?.
It's the first time I buy abroad and they don't have a tracking number to check where the package is.
Do you know what's the matter here?
(and for God shake!, they don't have an customers attention email address, only phone!)

Hey there. I am sorry about the delay... I guess I will have to wait a few weeks before ordering mine.

BTW, they DO have an email address , try cardenquiries@waterstones.com

Hmm that is a pretty long time for it not to come. Have you called them again and told them you were only shipped one reader? Do they have it in their system to ship you a second one or do you think maybe they were sending you two at the same time but only one was put into the shipping box?

I received an email, the reader that i was missing, been sent at no cost
but for more than 10 days and still not arrived, i sent another e-mail.

someone stole my reader in the Waterstones store, or perhaps the DHL

are very kind and tell me who sent me, but took many days waiting

but my patience are exhausted

They told me to replace my lost order and I'm waiting the item to be shipped.
I expect it to arrive at least on a week.
I asked them for a tracking number too but with no luck...
Hoping not to happen the same again here!
