Yes, all in one big pile of applications. Instead of grouped. That travesty of a start menu in Windows 10 I think is worse than the one in Windows 8.1. It almost looks workable, but isn't... (while I find the one in Windows 8.1 not workable either but that one doesn't even look workable).

My broadband connection, which normally runs with a download speed of about 13Mbps, has been performing at <1Mbps for the last two days. My ISP says that it's because their network has been completely overloaded by Windows 10 update traffic

Thanks. Hadn't seen that one before. I thought it was perhaps a reference to the leader of North Korea

I'm one of those who detest the password requirements for logging on to Windows 8/10, and was able to fumble through the disable password when waking up from sleep in Win8X, but never found out how to disable it on startup.
Then Win10 blew that up and I was forced to take the time during meetings to enter the password every time my surface timed out and went to sleep. What a hassle and not very impressive when the boss is talking to be poking at the on screen keyboard. So a bit of Googling revealed this Works a treat, and since I'm the only one who use my surface, I don't really need to have multiple accounts so... |

Require password on wakeup is an optional Power option
Edit Plan setting: Change advanced setting Gah! drilling down to some of this stuff is a pain. BTW I use W10pro in case options vary ![]() |
