I did read. You said nothing in the OP other than the PW2 was back for sale and the cost.

Basically, after seeing the PW3, I would go for the PW3 instead of the PW2. It comes down to the better screen on the PW3 vs the PW2.

B. I bought a PW2 just before the PW3 was announced. At day 29 I returned it and got a PW3. The difference in the hardware isn't really noticeable to me.
C. $109 for WiFi and $179 for WiFi and 3G. That's ridiculous.

D. I just went to the Amazon Kindle page and none show a 3G model. Interesting.
E. Even more interesting is none show a price with and without ads. Is a major marketing change here?

I have to agree with JSWolf. The PW3 is identical to the PW2--except it has a better screen. If you're in the market for a PaperWhite right now, it's worth the extra $10 to get the better resolution (IMO).

Note--I have a PW2 and am happy with it. But if I were buying a new one today, I'd definitely go with the PW3.

There is not that much of a mark down. Posted for those that like the older ereaders! ME I Gladly pay $139 for another K3! Light is Not my main interest. Nov 2013 I Did pay $139 for a K3 3G over the PW

Both 3G and no ads appear as options if you click on "Configure and Add to Cart" button.
