Kitties and monkeys are smart - this is what I do too. Although I did add an unlocked Galaxy S6 to my wish list to see if they might do something with wishlists for Prime day.

A little wishful thinking there, eh? Amazon's too smart for you guys. They're not about to let wishlists foil their garage sale.

I have links to wishlists for other people

Seems like it might have been a good idea to highlight items from those lists that were part of the 'bigger than Black Friday' sale. Maybe one of my friends or relatives wanted a plate of ham or a five pack of brass knuckles.

It occurred to me Wednesday that my wishlist can be re-ordered to be seen as low-to-high pricing.

So that's what I did, and easily found a number of inexpensive items to purchase while the $3 credit for delayed shipping was still available.

I have several Amazon Wish Lists (for different categories). It's nice that you can designate each as public or private. At the top of each list, you can select "Items with price drops." The default is "Unpurchased."

A few months ago, the Kindle Touch was on sale for $59 ($20 off) and I was thinking of getting one for my daughter. I spent some time comparing it with the NOOK and taking her to the stores to play with both and get her opinion. By the time I decided on the Kindle, the sale was over.

So I was mainly hoping to get a Kindle Touch on Prime Day. I was not able to get the $49 one, but I did get one without offers for $69, which is less than the cheapest regular price, so still a savings for me. My husband managed to get one of the $49 ones, so now my youngest can have one too. ("When do I get *my* reading Kindle?" he asked me when we were checking out readers at the store for his sister.)

They had an item from my wishlist on sale, so I got that too. They had one item from my saved for later cart, but by the time I noticed, it had already sold out. Some of the sale items were not heavily discounted, but interested me enough that I added them to my Saved for Later cart.

I bought:
Kindle Touch (without offers)
Audio cable (not a deal but the one in my car needs replacing and it was already in my cart)
GorillaPod SLR-Zoom Flexible Tripod (from my wishlist)
Mickey Mouse birthstone earrings (impulse)
2 Kindle Touch covers (buy 2 Kindle accessories from a list and get 15% off)
Logan's Roadhouse Gift Card (impulse)

I also bought the Kindle Unlimited 24 month membership -- I currently have the monthly subscription and since I seem to be using it, I thought I might as well save money on it.

I picked up four CDs and two DVDs, each for less than $5.00.

So we'll see if they give me $18.00 of digital credits.

a box of Teenie Greenies for the dog (arrived yesterday) and a Fire TV stick (due next week). Each came with a $5 credit in select categories (pet supplies being one of them) for choosing slow shipping.

I wanted the 40" TV for $115, but never saw it, and the $169 laptop, but it was gone faster than the blink of an eye.

I never saw it either. Anyone know what brand it ended up being?
And, did anyone see the Clip Jam go on sale? Honestly, I'm usually pretty good at sales, but I just could not keep up! I'm not sure if it ever did go on or not!
I did pick up three micro SD cards, and my son picked up two SSD drives the day before, but I think that was it. Unless he bought something else without letting me know.

Probably some no-name band like Seiki; and I saw no Clips on sale.

By the time I got done with therapy that morning, the good stuff was gone. Then having to deal with another therapy session after lunch and doing it from a tablet, I called it quits. Spent nothing, so I saved 100% that day

The SanDisk memory sale the day before and the HD 6 promos the previous Saturday yielded far greater savings than those on Prime Day.
