"Row highlighting" in Library?
Is it possible to highlight a book/row directly in the Library? Like rightclick->Highlight or something like that?

Thanks. I guess it´s not possible to highlight the entire row somehow, for example changing background color or font color?

Just click the mouse on a row. That will highlight it. Or do you mean that you want to permanently highlight it?

You can Color a CELL (field)
One way Create a unique Tag ("Highlight') Preferences: Look and Feel: Column coloring: Make a rule: If the Tags column has value highlight And set a color I use: Set title to Green if I have a <In Paper Library> tag I set Authors to Purple if there are no formats (AKA Empty Book) BTW Both exist Together in many places in my Library. 900 paper books documented without e-versions |

When you set up a coloring rule you can choose to change the text color for an entire row. Simply use "All Columns" for the column name. |

@Plaquard - in addition to colouring columns you can assign icons to columns. Both are done via Preferences->Look and Feel.
I prefer icons to colours because: a) I'm liable to forget the significance I attached to any particular colour, and b) I can have discrete icon sets/columns for different purposes. Column colouring and column icons are not mutually exclusive, i.e. you can use both. BR |
