A tall glass of water with many, many ice cubes. Just back from a 2 hour walk. It's very warm and very humid out there.

The smoke and particulates levels are really starting to get to me here. My asthma is definitely complaining, even though I'm hitting it with a 50% increase in puffer use over "maintenance" levels. And today they're going to be even worse as they do a "controlled burn" to build a firebreak. I sure hope they really do control it!

A tall glass of pink fizz (Campari & club soda & ice) - 97 F with 100% humidity levels - walking outside tonight was like being wrapped in a heavy wet hot blanket - made it even hard to breathe - the air is so heavy.

Yech. I'll pass, thanks. I whine when it gets to 85F and 50% humidity. (And the chickens don't much like it any warmer than that either! They'd think your temps were someone trying to steam them for dinner.)

Well, the day probably started at the usual time. I think it was just me getting started late.

Most of today the temperature was overcast, with big-time thunderstorms in the evening -- although the worst of the storms passed us by on both the north and south. There was another (unconfirmed, but caught on cell phone video) tornado nearby. That's unusual for us.

After the storms passed through the temperatures were in the mid-70s and the dew point was described by the weather service as "> 70." It was like wading through a very deep kiddie pool out there.

EDIT: Just water, I skip alcohol every few months.
