Yeah if it was built in the new format, the book on the Kindle matches the book on your PC, and everything is in the correct location, I'm not sure what else could be preventing it. I still don't have a new PW (might have one by September) so I can't do any testing on them from here.

Did you tried erasing the book completely from kindle and then add it again from calibre? and just after that putting the x-ray file in the sdr folder.
I had the grayed button untill i did that. I still can't use x-ray when i select a word though, but it is accesible from the menu

and make sure in the settings of the x-ray builder "use new format" is checked.

Cool. What is your output from the Ernest Cline one, with the version I posted?
By the way, what firmware version do you have on the PW2? Are you using the new X-Ray format or the old?
I was under the impression neither of the formats were working at all on firmware 5.6+, but I just got a report of an old format working on the Voyage on 5.6...

done that already. no success. am just waiting for september though, when eph will get his new PW.

That worked for me, but with the same results as Manahtar. Seems so close now with the Xray working for everything but selecting a word. I have Voyage with 5.6.2.1.

Make sure you put the logs in spoiler tags, they take up quite a bit of space when scrolling through the thread.
It looks like they're both failing when setting up the output directory. You could probably stop that by turning off the "use subdirectories" option, but here is a version that should avoid it by removing any invalid characters. If it still gives the same error, it might be a permissions issue where it can't write to the folder, but it will now continue and just use the default output directory.

With the new version, it makes the files, even though it gives a few errors (corrected by unchecking "use subdirectories")

I downloaded the Ernest Cline book to test. Turns out that a lot of the issues are due to him not having a biography on Amazon, and less than 4-5 books published. I believe I've fixed all those, so this should be a step closer.
