Oops. Sorry. Not a graphics person. If you can get it to me in book format, I'll load and try again.

It's like Amazon is going out of its way to make its products inferior to Kobo, isn't it? |

Competition is good. If your only criteria when selecting a reader is that it must have all the options for fonts that a Kobo has, then get yourself a Kobo. A Kindle cannot be that inferior or it would not sell any more so everybody can switch over to Kobo readers. Different features are important to different people.

I would not call Amazon products inferior to Kobo by any means.
I have ereaders by both companies, Amazon work to a different agenda taking the whole package into account, I.e cloud collections, whispersync, being able to read on multiple devices and holding personal documents in the cloud and treating them pretty much the same as a Amazon purchased book. That is why, even with a kobo I still read on my Kindle as my preferred device. And the one very important factor that means I can NEVER have just a Kobo is the fact that to reset it you need a paper clip or a needle. On holiday my Kobo froze, being in a holiday apartment I didn't have a paper clip but luckily I had a sewing kit so I could use needle to reset my device, but without that I would have to have gone and bought something to use. That part of kobo's leaves a lot to be desired, it froze again yesterday, so two freezes in four weeks. First of all I've rarely had a kindle freeze on me in the four years I've owned various kindles, and if it does I can at least use the power button! Last edited by Josieb1; 07-05-2015 at 03:09 AM. |
