I'm going to flash Onx c67ml ROM to my Boyue T62D. Is this abd "not found device" on reboot-bootloader critical, or only the AndroidTool's "Found One LOADER device" is sufficient and thus I can continue while I see it, just ignoring the adb complaint?
Thanks again.

Upd. Please ignore the question. I couldn't wait and continued at my own risk. The answer is(at least in my case) "yes, ignore the adb complaint". Now I'm playing with my Onyxized Boyue device. Thanks for the advise with buttons!
I was about to reply when I saw your update. I found that you don't always need adb with the AndroidTool. If the Tool tells you "Found one LOADER device", you're golden! (Of course, you know that now!) Glad it worked for you!

I'm having an issue with screensaver screens. They appear white after a while of inactivity.
Any Ideas?

Glad it helped! Sorry for my short advice, I was in a kind of hurry.
Long answer:
ADB is very helpful to get remote access to your device (including system partition) but you don't need adb to get into bootloader mode, the aformentioned key combination does the same trick as adb reboot-bootloader.
In this bootloader mode access to the different portions of the device memory is possible with the tools you mentioned (backup, flash, change size of partitions ... even bricking it is quite easy).

Your adb problem could have been related to different reasons.
Most often the driver is not properly installed, sometimes (on the device) SuperUser.apk is not giving root permission to adb (due to the connected to USB screen it doesn't show up) and it has to be set to give it allways to system apps. In this thread there are some posts describing how to overcome various adb problems.

Enjoy the new ROM!

What do you mean native firmware img?

After I finish Pack Boot.img, I flash it to the device, Correct?

If you have a full version firmware. But if there Boot.img taken from OTA updates update.zip then it is enough to place it in the folder "Unpack\Firmware\Image\" disassemble and making changes, back to collect and upload to the device using ADB commands or use ROM_Dumper_Tool.exe.

Modified full firmware you can gather with native full firmware from your device

Sorry FOV but that didn't help with my device.
But it is not important, just to let you have some feedback.

BTW: Anyone knows how to enable custom screensaver pics with the Onyx ROM?

nhedgehog, What device do you have? Model? The native version of the ROM? I will be able to build the firmware for your device, but you need to know at least some data. To have the native firmware, preferably full.

Ask other forum users, do they have the same problems as you have?

Thanks FOV but it isn't really a problem. Mine is a Energy Reader Pro. Native firmware can be found here.

Firmware from Energy eReader Pro completely, as is, was poured by me in my G-mini A6LHD 2014 release and it is fully compatible with my model. Of course, can download the firmware from the site 4PDA version ' factory markup for the audit T62C - System=512MB, Data=1Gb SDcard=5.5 GB. In fact you have the model should be fully compatible with the Boyue T62-C.

In fact:
Checked that the Energy eReader Pro is Boyue T62-C and G-mini A6LHD 2014 release
Maybe, but I think that Energy eReader Pro+ is Boyue T62-D & G-mini A6LHD 2015 release

Yes, Energy eReader Pro+ is Boyue T62D (or T62+). I ran the Pro+ ROM on my T62+ (T62D) for a time, and all worked well.

I checked the init.rc of the rom I flashed (your 1.72RC version) and it already have all the modifications done to it.
Still I have the white screen saver after a while of inactivity.
I have the T62+.

This would be great.

Edit: I also have the white display although I modified the init.rc accordingly, but it's not really important to me. FYI I have an energy pro+.
