I just looked, I have room to add it.

I should post a thread in the Lounge asking how to make a library database in access, I have a feeling that'll be better than excel.

I think there's going to be a 'new' Marple on the telly here over Christmas (but since I'm at work and the TV magazine I saw it in is at home, that's as much info as I can proffer at the moment).
Joan Hickson is my favourite Marple, Geraldine McEwan (the current one) is good, but not as much to my taste!
I like Poirot best though (haven't read any of Christie's books yet, really should get around to it)

New Year's Day. ITV1 21:00 - 23:00.

'Radio Times':
'Nemesis - Geraldine McEwan makes her final appearance as the spinster sleuth. A recently deceased friend, Mr. Rafiel, leaves Miss Marple enigmatic instructions to embark on a coach trip with a trustworthy friend - in order to investigate a crime that may or may not have taken place.'

(There's also a new 'Jonathan Creaky' on BBC1 at the same time.)

Margaret Rutherford was a fine actress, but was decidedly not the way I imagined Miss Marple.

Margaret Rutherford looked like she could take a grizzly bear down with her bare hands. She was an intimidating personage.

Joan Hickson is more how I think the character should be portrayed. Deceptively frail.

Actually, I agree with you completely. I always pictured M. as a frail thing also. But M.R. was so good in the series, I was able to 'suspend disbelief' and just enjoy her.

Ooh I'm excited to read Miss Marple now.

On a side note, I went to an Indian buffet for lunch and now I am sleepy

The sleep police can arrest me and take me to jail. As long as there's a cot in the jail cell, I'll be fine. I love sleep!

Are we mixing threads again???!? There's another thread about sleeping, loving it, etc (and ignoring MR for silly things like sleep).

P.S. Yes, *DO* get around to reading Agatha Christie books. There is a REASON she is a classic, and has lasted so long!!!!
