Thanks for the debug log. I found the problem. The webview on the Tab handles redirection differently from the one on Nexus systems. I can work around it. As you also can work around it, I won't make another release until I get more feedback. I would like to wait a few days, assuming no showstopper problems.

FWIW: I think what the Tab is doing is wrong. I am sure that if I tell Samsung they will jump right on it.

Oops, forgot to tell you exactly what I'm doing.

I connect to cloud.
Choose Reset cloud connection from menu.
Connect to cloud again.
sign in.
choose different library
signin screen remains after progress spinner stops
disconnect
connect to cloud
screen displays normally.

I was going thru the steps again to choose the same library this time, and CC crashed. I'll send another debug log.

And thanks again. This time Android reported that the database was corrupt. I don't know how it got that way, but I suspect an interaction with downloading. I have added a check for this. If it happens, CC Cloud shows a message then disconnects, forcing a reload on the next connect.

Did it work on the next connect?

I just noticed that dropbox doesn't have my calibre library in the same folder as it did before. My Calibre library gets copied to dropbox everyday, so something is up there. So I guess you just need to account for a folder that was used previously not being there anymore.

Well, that would certainly be a form of corruption. It is also something I didn't think about.

The library would not be there in the cloud so the cached library would be reset. My changes to check for corruption will detect this case and clear the library. On the next connect you will need to navigate to the library again.

I must confess: you are a developer's dream. You touch corner cases that are very far off the beaten path. Why that is I cannot say, but thanks again for your help and patience.

I am a retired mainframe dev, and I always did that for myself too. I also never do things the way you're supposed to.

Oh good. I was about to report this.

I started downloading a book right before tali g off on a plane ride, and I lost the connection before the book finished. When. I landed, I downloaded the previous update to CC and tried again. This time it failed, which I was investigating might be because of the previous fail. I will try again when I get this release and see if it works now.

Nice update.
Switching between different databases works flawless, but even after a while CC does not show the cover images in the list, also not in the Metadata view of a book.

Wish:
Since I manage now e everything with CC I do not need anymore complicated "send to de device" templates. But I want to have a minimum structure on my device. Is it possible to add a template as follows :
Folder Series (if no series author) /....
