  • I like giving the width of tables as images in em's so it scales with the font size. (Just remember max-width:100%)
  • As far as I can make out, Amazon KF8 does not permit zooming of SVG images Akward for big tables as images.
  • My personal preference for side notes is to put them on the right hand side, to avoid ugliness when the sidenote comes close to a new paragraph/text indent. I also put a frame around them or give them a gray background. Then I can shrink the whitespace around the sidenote, and it is still distinguishable from the surrounding text.

I am using for some time Gitden Reader, definitely better. It also support ePub3, not that I need it.
