Am I the only one ...
That need to switch the button twice to put my Kobo Glo in sleep mode?

I find your image a bit rude.

Happens to my H2O as well, but only the first time after it's been connected to my PC. Works fine after that.

What do you see when this happens? I swear that sometimes when I flick the switch on my Glo it goes to sleep and wakes right back up, but it is very rare, and I assumed I was hitting the slider twice.

Switch? What's that?
I just close the sleep cover and the H2O goes to sleep. I open the sleep cover and the H2O wakes up. No need for the switch. |

The issue is, at times, even closing the cover, you can see through the crack, that the light is still on, so the device has not gone to sleep.

I've never had this problem on the H2O with either the sleep cover or the switch.
The Glo and Aura I have at home also seem to work properly either way, but I'm not the one who uses them regularly so if it's a issue that occurs only once in a while... |

Yes, it is exactly the same behavior but in my case it happens often

I've never had a problem with my AuraHD not going to sleep when closing the cover--but I often notice a delay of a few seconds before the light shuts off when looking through the crack. Just thought I'd mention that in case that's what you might be seeing as well.

I much prefer the reader and light to shut off instantly. If there was a way to add a line into the config file or a patch to make it do that like it used to, I would definitely add it in. |
