I am more a dog person. I don't care at all for cats, the only thing they do is doing number two in my garden every day. Not nice at all.

I married into a cat family. I when I say that...the only one who doesn't have cats is a sister-in-law whose husband has allergies. Everyone else not only has cats, they have multiples. We currently have 4.

My parents didn't get dogs until right before I moved out of the house, despite my wanting one my entire childhood. I grew up with the stereotype that dogs were nicer, but really, cats can be just as loving... Its all about understanding their personalities. All of the cats we've had have adopted us, one at a time, and my childrens' cats match my children's personalities. Its actually funny to see.
