Hi there,

My aura HD stopped working. It can be switched off and on but the screen stays on the given page. I tried to reset the device without success. In a last effort I would like to try a new SD which I need an image for. Could someone please send me this image?

Hi there,
Ran in to a problem on my KOBO Glo. Checked the sd and came up with a Cyclic Redundancy check error on my SD.
Could someone send me the SD image to put on a new SD?

BTW, according to https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...7&postcount=78, could you confirm me that:
  • In order to rebuild my internal SD from your image, I need to edit the unpartitionned start of the SD (once written) and write here at offset 0x200 my own serial number?
  • I only have a backup of my .kobo/version file. The serial I need to use is just the N204BXXXXXXXX string I found here?

At 0x200 is "SN-" and then the 13 digit serial number. The image should have 13 zeros. And the first field in the version file is the serial number.

But, if you don't write the serial number, it will still work. Based on how rarely questions are asked about the serial number, I don't think many people think of it.
