I agree, my H20 is the most constant colour and as much as I love my Voyage I do have colour changes.

My Glo HD had a remarkably even white light. Really impressive. I could see some variation at the bottom due to the leds there.

I'm shocked that you folks can see the color changes from my photos. I thought they weren't that good. The color gradient is more apparent in actuality. But I love it anyway.

If u like it,then that is ok.
Don't let our judgement changes yours,or your fun with it.
It is not important what we think, it is important what you think and if you like it then nothing is wrong.
Don't forget that we look at it,because you told us about the gradient.
If my HD would have the same,but I liked the text,the deepness,then I could live with it to,you read the book,not look at the light all the time.
Light that changes with other settings.
Thanks for making the pictures,but again,don't feel different about what you feel about the device, it is yours !

+1 on this. It is a bit annoying but seems to be occurring on many screens so no point on trying to get a better one.

BTW I run mine at 40% so it's a bit more pronounced.

I agree wholeheartedly. For someone who is very sensitive to screen variations and colors, it's been a dream for me. The screen is perfectly even with no colors. It still makes me giddy sometimes looking at it. After my bad voyage screen experience, I was ready to stick to my Paperwhite 2, which is a good one, but it took me a few tries to get one. However, the text is more faded as compared to my H20 and I also don't care for the thin kindle fonts. All around, the H20 is a winner for me. I'm just so happy to have it and enjoy reading on it so much.

My Voyage is not.... It would really annoy me, I have to say.

So, that was it for a new reader before the summer. I'll stick to what I have.

On the one hand,there are so many laws in our country and Europe, on the other hand, I am glad that I can order what I want,and send it back within 14 working days if it is not what I liked.. i can order 3 if I want,and send 2 back keeping the best one, or send them all back if there is none even without a given reason why i don't like it, so I would centainly give it a try, I ordered 2

I know, but I don't like to do this too much.

I'll wait until I'm in France and, if one day I can convince myself to leave the shade under the hackberry, I may decide to move my butt to the next FNAC and see one in the wild. But right now I would not bet on it.. . Truth is, I don't need a new reader, very happy with the KV and the H2O. I would always like a new one, but I also would like a date with Tony Goldwyn, and according to my husband, I can't have both...

I am thinking of ordering a GLO HD from INDIGO in Canada. I can opt to have it shipped either to the USA or directly to Greece (final destination).

Anyone know what customs fees might be if I order it directly to Greece?

Nevermind - found it, no duty, but 23% VAT. Which is not so bad if one counts the 20% VISA Checkout discount.

Well, turns out Greece is not a participating country for the VISA Checkout! So no 20% discount. Have to think further...

Well, actually, I don't need it to, I mean I have the AuraHD and the normal Glo, but if no one's tickle's you, you have to do it yourself.
I Still have my old Sony 650 to.
I don't abuse the system,but if the screen can be different per device, I think it is cheaper to order two (€ 6,50 for 10 KG for the shipping party) in one order then Order one and send it back,and order a second one (as sending and returning has to be paid by the shipping company) because then it is 3 times 6,50 for them, when I order 2 and send one back,the two can be in one shipment,the return in the other.. which is only 2 times shipping fee for them.
And with the first shipment of Glo's my partner like it so much that no one will be sended return after all
Maybe I can convince my son to have one of them, he always fight with me, it is like a fake Rolex dad, it looks like real, but it doesn't feel like one,it doesn't smell like one.. it isn't the real thing *

Oh I will... the Glo HD isn't available yet here,and I understand from different retailers that they have more outstanding orders/reservations then they get Glo's so some people has to wait to a second batch.
Man, I hate that... when there is a new model phone or something like that in the us or somewhere else, we always have to wait here.. and it is more expensive.
And if they get a shipment, there is never enough to help all customers.
My first order is already delayed to the thirth week of june..

I went to the FNAC to see a H2O before buying but they only had non-working devices, it was a disappointment since it was a trip to go there. I think next time I will call before to ask if it's possible to see a working one.

But personally I like my H2O to much to change
