Good morning, everyone! I am getting PUMPED! YESSS! I've decided to sell off a lot of 'toys' that have just been getting moved from country to country without getting played with... some camera lenses, guitar amps and effect pedals, camera bags, recording interfaces, etc., etc. expensive stuff that has just been languishing in cabinets and closets for a few years. Sort of a big dollar yard sale over the Internet. Between Craigslist and some local Facebook buy and sell pages, I've already converted almost $1,000 worth of items, with two more big ticket items (another $600) going this morning. I haven't used any of these things in years, and finally just decided to get rid of them, and recycle the money into new toys. There is an expensive fencing epee that I've had my eye on... ultra-lightweight but ULTRA expensive... that may be in the picture soon..

To celebrate my good luck with sales, I'm drinking unbranded Keemun tea this morning, and getting ready for a 9am meeting with someone who wants my spare set of camera lens 'extension rings,' a set of three different sized extensions used for macro photography, then a 10am meeting with another fellow who wants a 400mm lens for $500. This is fun!

Finishing up the last chapter in this book. Yippee! I'll be up all night, I can tell, but I can see the end in sight. Drinking Schwepps Club Soda with a twist of lime.

And as most of the stuff that I'm selling is 'Pro' quality, it isn't just the 10¢ and $2 typical garage sale stuff so the money is really adding up. Just this minute I discovered another Macro lens that I haven't used in at least 8 years that can get added to the sale... That lens is selling used from the major photo companies for $600. If I offering for $500 it will go in a flash (no pun intended.) And as I had pretty much forgotten about this lens, it feels like a $500 Christmas present just showed up!

The final chapter in my latest book is off to the editor, as of about 2AM this morning. I've still got author review, pages, and some front matter to deal with, but the monkey is off my back.

Celebrating with a mug of Phoenix Mountain Oolong. After yesterday's push, I want nothing with a lot of caffeine in it. Just some gentle oolong.
