I assume you're referring to the contents of the above graphic. And I just heard (or maybe read) that Pat Rothfus has read Aeronaut's Windlass as well as Patricia Briggs has, or at least the quote above inplies that she's read it. However I don't believe that i would classify it as "a secret author conspiracy"!!

Lol. I thought it's common that some authors will get an advance copy of a book prior to its release, so that they can write a blurb just like that one by Patricia Briggs? I'm quite sure no conspiracy is involved; only privileges.

They can have the advance copies. Part of the fun in reading a book is sharing it with others. Can't do that if it hasn't been released yet.
