I couldn't agree more! He doesn't understand the difference between ereaders and tablets, to him they are all tablets. I have 2 tablets that I don't share, and 4 ereaders, so he thinks that is a lot. He just doesn't understand! One of the ereaders is for sale, but that doesn't count, since no one has bought it yet.

I just LOVE the Glo HD so much!!!! It is the best one, yet! (I've never seen the H2O, however).

Is it just my unit, or are the page turns very slow? It's irritatingly slow. I feel like I've got time to look at my watch. It feels slower than my old Nook ST. Does the Glo HD turn pages slower than other Kobo devices? This may be because of the increased screen-def and not upgrading the processor.

Maybe installing Coolreader will speed it up.

I also find the touch-screen slow, but that might just be the slow page turns (i.e. processor), or a combination of the two.

It was the 3.15 update, I think. Hopefully it will be corrected in the next update.

When I was doing my initial comparisons, the page turns on the Voyage were faster.

I do, I have the Glo HD and 2 Glos, but they are all running 3.15.0 right now. I had one at 3.13 the other day and the page turn speed seemed the same. But I could swear they used to turn faster than they do, now. Maybe one of the previously versions, I can't remember.

It's like I can see pattern on my new glo hd, like on my old Aura.

I found this thread to be very useful (specially the last ~15 pages or so).


Now, I am waiting for my first E-reader.

I have a Kobo Arc7 (which I am new to Ebooks) but I was wondering if anyone could let me know how I can delete my browsing history as the person who had the Kobo before me left tons of history.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have the Glo, but on my h20 page turns were slower until I converted my books to kepub format, then everything was smoother and faster.
