I was more thinking of it giving an overall impression of the voting population, rather than matching any individual's attributes to their individual votes.

I am a socialist and read a pretty wide range of fiction. While my job title is SA (Solution Architect), I am more aptly described as an SA (Smart Ass.) I am incredibly easy going and laugh a lot.

I noticed The Stranger that Spellbanisher nominated for 1941-1950. Is this the novel by Albert Camus? If so you probably won't need L'Étranger, my nomination for that decade as it's the same book.
