Better for a night's sleep! Starting with a big mug of Peet's Holiday Breakfast Blend tea. I've got two new tins of this year's Anniversary Breakfast Blend tea sitting in my US mailbox, but it'll be a couple of weeks till I can get down there to pick it up.

Good morning, everyone! Happy Monday! Today is the last day of sightseeing for our houseguest, my nephew-in-law visiting from Japan. He's had a VERY full four days of Thailand's best so far, and today is a day to decompress a bit.

Here he is being kissed and hugged by his new elephant friends. I'm drinking my 'Xing Yang' black tea this morning, getting ready to face the day. Today will be a nice quiet Thai massage, a stroll around the Old City, some more good Thai food (this kid actually eats more than I do! At the buffet, I was already on to my ice cream and cake while he was still going back for two more plates.) At no time has he known what he was eating, but tried absolutely everything except bugs! It's really not easy eating bugs... Then perhaps a swim in the condo pool, then off to the airport for his trip back to Japan. He really has been the perfect house guest! Just a 'jolly,' jovial really nice guy to be around!

Bugs in a dish would turn me off dinner, even if they were supposed to be in there. I can barely eat shrimp because they look like bugs. But I would love to cuddle an elephant!
