And my latest Kobo email to my Aus account has a portion written in French. I can state that I haven't ventured into the Kobo French store to purchase any books, nor been to France for over a decade, so I was curious to see that Kobo is inviting me, in French, to buy a Kobo Glo HD for Mother's Day.

It is Mother's Day in Aus on May 10, but it's not Mother's Day in France till May 31. So I suppose that both eventualities are covered.

I was greedy and multi-tabbed my 100% discount coupon and it worked! I got 9 books. I got a more specific error message on all the tabs then usual so I didn't think it would work but when I went into my library all the books were there.

Maybe but it's only a few cents different from multi tabbing with 90% coupons and no one is calling that theft.

Kobo is aware of the multi-tabbing, and has not changed their website. If we were exploiting a new flaw, I could understand your concern; but I assure you, Kobo's technical team knows this occurs.

Pretty much. The simple fact is, here in Canada, they have no real competition. Sony Reader Store closed and went to Kobo. Nook/Kindle/Google all have shitty selection (imho). Therefore, there's no big push for them to tighten up security.
