Well one of the people that I referred still hasn't received his, and I referred him to a number of different accounts because he didn't get any at all.

Murg the thing that's different with the issue of these codes is that they expire on the 22nd, so Kobo has ostensibly given only 1 day to use them. Given that, I can't see kobo issuing any more with the 22nd as the expiry date.

So, perhaps Kobo will release some eacH day with a 24 hour expiry until the backlog is released - or not!!

Indeed.

People here get "Kobo being Kobo," but surely Kobo must alienate the garden variety user who plays by the rules with these bungled promotions. Why is it so hard for them to do something right?

Not that I'm complaining, of course. Amusement and pecuniary gain far outstrip the irritation factor. Long may she bungle!

I have a code in one of my accounts, but it is not a "thanks for making a referral" it's a "your friend recommended you code". It arrived yesterday. It expires today. It does not start with FRIEND or FRND.

I didn't get any of the new 90% off codes yet, either.
I'd stopped trying to get codes near the end of the promotion, as a) it wasn't working most of the time, b) people had stopped PMing me for codes.
I did try twice after the codes had expired, but the referral page was still up, but no luck so far.
Too bad since they can be used on an account which had already used FRIEND & FRND codes , aka, mine

I got it to work with multi-tab. I use store credit on my account to avoid my credit card company calling me to confirm 50+ charges under $1.
