The humidity is a bit high, but otherwise it's a perfect day for a walk. Unfortunately I think I broke the pinkie toe on my left foot last night when I stubbed it on some furniture.

It rained yesterday, and it's supposed to rain tomorrow, but it's sunny and beautiful out there right now. The ground's a little soggy, but it's nice. I'd go for a walk myself, but I've got stuff to do in the house today.

What meteorological phenomenon (phenomena) affects you this day ?
It's my left foot. You can see the discoloration in this photo. I don't see any need to go to the doctor as there's not really too much you can do for a broken pinky toe except let nature take its course. If there were complications I'd go, but not for this. It's just a minor inconvenience. If it gets too bad, perhaps I'll let that lady on TV who keeps Daredevil patched up take a look at it.

If walking makes it hurt too much, 'buddy tape' it to the adjoining toe as a kind of splint - that's really all you can do.

Glorious cool breezy sunny day today - after last night's storms - have taken several long walks ....

I see you know his name! Yes, Yorick stopped by one Halloween and decided to stay. He's my buddy. I've played with the idea of ramming the Echo up his neck when it arrives next month. I've talked with him often, but it would be nice if he talked back.

I thought about that, but I think it would be better off if I just left it free. Poor Norton. There's a zero percent chance of rain through Friday and I can't take him walking. At least I can still pedal the redundant bike without too much difficulty, so it's not like I'll miss out on my daily exercise.

The foot has slowed my movements, but hasn't stopped me from doing any of my usual things except my walks with Norton, and I expect them to resume soon.

Weather: It's cooler today than yesterday. Currently it's only 58° F with an expected high for the day of 68 but the sun is shining; all in all a great day for reading in the gazebo.
