is anyone able to generate new 90% off codes ? I've tried the link on page 830 for several accounts of new friends and they just won't go through. I enter the friends email address and nothing when I hit submit.

Yes, I received a bunch. I tested the first two and they do work.

Ahhh, when nothing happens after you hit submit then I've found it means that one or more email addresses aren't to the liking of the program.

That is, the email address isn't in the right format (perhaps a '.' at the end, or whatever).

Try sending them one at a time.

Thanks I went to my work computer and send them to all new friends emails that I didn't use last week but so far no one has gotten the email

I have a couple of FRND codes as well, and could probably generate some if needed, I've only done the rounds with one email address.
I think I might have at least one FRIEND code, if they are still valid. I only got one book on the first time round with FRIEND as I did it before people posted about using multiple codes on one checkout and multiple browsers (multiple tabs in one browser never worked for me...) at the same time.
I don't want books in multiple accounts, so that was out for me. Might "travel" (or even simply travel ) one day, but only one account per country for me.
But luckily the FRND codes came along and I got 28 books in one go using 9 codes!!!! (Cost of 28 books: 36$ including a book originally priced @ 32$! )
That was enough playing the system for now, I totally cleaned out my wishlist (aside from books ineligible) as well as a number of spur of the moment purchases!

So PM if you want a code, I won't post them here, since that would pretty much rule out all the tricks to use more than one...

I haven't been able to get a reduced price for any book in a long time, it seems.
I used to like Kobo, but their horrible website and prices are changing my opinion. Amazon starts to be cheaper...

These current refer-a-friend codes only work on eligible titles in UK, Canada, US, Australia and New Zealand. And probably most other codes Kobo distributes are similar. Sometimes South Africa is included.
