Another nice, windy day. Thursday's thunderstorms never developed and it's been nice, although a bit on the cool side, ever since.

Summer's here (spring you ask? Blink and it's history). After a few lingering nights in the 30's F, we're poised for 70 - 80 F temps with t-storms.
An alleged cold front may stall out & NOT arrive on Wednesday .....

We beat the forecast. Temps were supposed to maybe get to 70° but we got a few degrees warmer (all references are F). It's bright and sunny out there with just enough of a breeze to make the open windows pay off.

Supposed to be chilly and rainy for the rest of the week.

We just got our evening workout in and now I am watching the line of storms head this way. A bit relieved actually as it will rinse a little of the pollen away.

So far the forecast seems to be pretty accurate.

It's been overcast all day. From now until 7:00 PM we're facing a 20% chance of light rain. At 7:00 the weather wizards are saying there's a 40% chance we'll see a thunderstorm. It rained enough overnight to muddy the streets and make for some slick spots for walkers. It looks like another day of stationary recumbent bike riding for the old man.

Tornadoes about 30 miles west of here, on Thursday. Two days ago. Man I hadn't seen this one before. I'd have been in the basement by the middle of this video:

Nearly 2 inches of rain, a presidential motorcade outside my office at the school and the power out in most of south Charlotte. Now the pollen is a yellow wet muck rather than a toxic cloud...for now.
