Magazine source that allows you to reflow text?

I love reading books with really wide text columns (edge to edge of my ipad mini screen), the opposite of how most magazines are formatted. Is there a magazine service that sells magazines in a format that I can read like that instead of their usual super narrow rigid formatting so I can read it like a book?

Right now I use Zinio (free library access to many magazines) but their proprietary reader/format is essentially a rigid PDF. I know there are many other providers like Amazon, Apple Newstand, and subscription only models like Magzter and NextIssue. Do any of these provide their magazines re-flowable format?

Edit: I know it sometimes varies by magazine. The ones I'm most interested in in order are: The Economist, Newsweek, Esquire, Businessweek, The Atlantic, Popular Science, Discovery, and National Geographic, so if you happen to know for sure about any of those magazine that'd be great to know.

I know that Analog via Amazon reads just like any other Kindle book. Perhaps other magazines through Amazon do, too, at least the ones compatible with eink Kindles.

Just played around with Next Issue and National Geographic. Doesn't seem to be an option for reflow on it. They are (as you described) almost in a PDF format.

The magazines with a lot of pictures are most likely in a pdf-type format, or in an app.

I haven't used Zinio in some time, but I seem to recall that some magazines supported reflowable text while others didn't. New Scientist comes to mind for the former. Analog was a thorn in my side because it didn't (and it is one of the least page dependent publications out there). You may want to check the publications that you are interested in while using the Zinio app to see if they support that option since, as far as I know, it is the only reader for capable of accessing publications purchased through Zinio. Since your library is paying for, I wouldn't complain too much.

As for those fixed format magazines being published in a PDF-like format, that seems to be exactly what they are. Poking around the directories revealed a bunch of, presumably, encrypted, PDF files.
