I get bored with my kindle on occasions and find it refreshing to read a real book. Having said that, for the reasons people state above, I often go back to the kindle. I have a lot of books on it so endless reads

Yes, I still read paperbacks and sometimes hardcovers too. Reading from hardcovers is not easy, but some books are only found in this format. My reading addiction didn't get any easier by switching to Kindle, but I still like the feel and smell of a print book. I borrow most paperbacks from the local libraries and some depicting very narrow niches I will buy from Amazon.

Well you could make a Photo gallery type screen saver that cycled through all your ebook covers for your computer.

I buy photography books on paper. The photographs just don't work on my Kindle. Other books, never.

A few years ago I was heading to the bathroom and grabbed a paperback sitting on a stack to be donated to the library sale. As soon as I started reading I thought, "Wow, I need to enlarge the font a bit." Oops. The older I get the more I like my Kindle.

I never read paperbacks anymore either. Being able to increase font size for my bad eyes, built in front light so I can read any where I get comfortable at, able to carry around a lot of reading choices in a smaller size than a paperbook... many reasons why I'd never go back to paperbacks. Since I do read out of the house a lot, I always hated when I'd be near the end of a book and stuck riding the subway and bus for over an hour with nothing to read, since I'd never want to carry around 2 paperbacks with me.

Yeah, there's just no going back for me, I'm forever bound to an ereader.

I haven't bought or read a printed novel for several years now. Adjustable font size has become important to me and also I no longer have to worry about space being taken up by books I might want to reread.

I'm addicted to old mysteries though, and there are some books and series that show no signs of ever appearing as ebooks. I'm almost desperate enough to start buying or rebuying printed versions of some of them.

Having a big clean out (moving) and lots of paper books have been donated. There were a couple I intended to read but didn't want to buy the ebook. My hands got very sore trying to hold a paper book, and I decided I didn't want to read them that badly!

I always liked scanning my bookshelves, something I might not remember owning would often appeal to me, but in all other ways I'm happier with electronic reading devices. Which is just as well considering that I now own exactly ONE paper book (other than crafts and cooking.)

When I read a book, I read one with words.
