I use the official cover and I'm very happy with that, the H20 clips out easily for bath reading and pops back in without any issues. I'm very happy.

I agree. I also have the official cover and couldn't be happier with it!

I have the official cover, too. It does fit perfectly and works great. It is very slim which is great for slipping the Kobo into your bag or pocket.

However, I was a bit disappointed that I paid Kobo forty dollars for a cover for my waterproof book and that cover is not waterproof. I also felt the protection offered by the official cover was minimal.

I believe the cover I am using now (Cover-Ups Hemp) offers better protection for the screen and also provides a bit more cushioning in case of drops. I also like the feel of the cloth in my hands. This cover is not waterproof either, however, and there is no sleep/wake function although this has been promised in the future.

I just received the original Kobo cover and I'm returning it because I really liked the old one I had for the Glo, as it was made of real leather. That one felt really nice but the new one was too much plastic for my taste.
Have ordered this now: http://www.noreve.com/en/kobo/2817-k...lerUri=product

Am still on the lookout for a nice slim leather case, though, as the seller above has the one I want listed as backordered.

The Noreve cover has arrived. and it is really beautiful. Costly, but imho well woth the money. it has a hard case inner clamshell, holds the Kobo tightly and closes with a magnetic clasp.
I like it even better than the "old" original Kobo Glo leather case.

Their covers do look nice. Does the model you have activate the wake/sleep function?

Caseable do lovely custom made covers for all the models. I'm very happy with mine for the H20 - although you can't access the tab for charging with it in the cover which may or may not become a problem in time. I'll see how often I need to charge it.

Which makes it, essentially, not a H2O cover in the sense that it was made with H2O specific needs in mind. I have one of those myself, but I only use the cover for transport/while not in use; and actually read w/o cover. So it's not a problem for me, but for anyone who wants to keep their device always-in. I bought this cover because it was on sale but in retrospect, there are cheaper and better covers to be had.

Yes, it does. I believe the magnet that is used to shut it doubles to activate the sleep function.

The quality of the cover is really good, it fits snugly without adding too much bulk - but the H2O is a lot heavier than my previous Glo
The leather seems to be of good quality, too.

Question about the official Kobo H2O cover: when the case is closed, does the front cover wiggle around or is it shut tight? The Fintie does and that kind of bothers me.

It wiggles a little bit. Not enough to bother me though.

In anticipation of getting an H2O, I wanted to see the difference in size from my Glo. Investing £9.95 in a Cover-Up Book Style cover first, seemed a good idea.
So glad I did it, the cover is fabulous. I always wanted the hemp original book cover for my Glo but never got it. This has helped me decide to go for the H2O rather than the new Glo HD. I am using it with the Glo to get used to it.

Are there any waterproof covers? or ones where it is very easy to slip Kobo in and out for taking into bath? Ones I have seen often become loose if kobo in and out all the time...

Sorry about the big pictures, here they are smaller, a H2O Cover-Up Book Style Natural Hemp Cover. (with a Glo in it for time being)
