How do you put in more than one books at a time?

I've been downloading ePub books from Dropbox app on the iPhone to certain apps like Shubook, iBooks, etc. But it's taking a long time and I would like to put in the books in bulk instead of one by one.

Sadly, I think the only app that ever allowed download (for example) of an entire folder, was Stanza. However, that said, it was only when sucked from an OPDS catalogue. I dont think any will do it wholesale anymore. Now when downloading, anyway...

I think there was a way through iTunes a few years ago where you could click on Apps and choose the e-book reader app of your choice and then manually put in lots of ePub files but I don't think that option is available anymore?

By the way if you bought an iPod Touch 4, could you still use Stanza on it? |

Still works perfectly here. iTunes > select device > Apps > scroll down to File Sharing > select chosen reader app > drag stuff wholesale into the app's Documents window to the right.

When I try to send 100 eBooks elsewhere on iOS, my options are Message, Mail and Transmit.

So it's technically doable, just no one has their apps to accept more than one thing other than maybe Documents, Transmit, and whoever else does a file manager. |

I'd say the best option is to do it in iTunes. That would work for all apps I think.

Marvin has an option to download books from dropbox and you can do it for several books at a time. |

Eddy will download folders with multiple files and if Eddy can't play the file it opens a box asking which app should it use. For example an epub file can be "played" in Marvin, iBooks or Voice Dream.

I use Calibre and port the books over to iTunes. When that is finished I select the books I want to download from iTunes into the iPad and synch them.

Boot-up time for iTunes, transfer, sync and then not having it load into the program I wish to use. I prefer to save the files to DropBox or Google Drive and then download them from there into the app I use on the iPad or iTouch. This is a personal choice and I know some like iTunes - no argument.

My laptop's an early 2013 version, and if I count as I start up iTunes, I don't get to "2". I then load the epubs directly into the appropriate apps on the Apps screen (2 seconds if I've located the epub file first), and sync (51 seconds this time, but that's because it had to copy six podcast episodes over since I hadn't synced for a couple days. No cable mucking around as it syncs by wifi); and I have never had an epub 'not load'. Eddy might be great, and each to their own, but I really think the "AVOID ITUNES OMG KILL IT WITH FIRE" attitude around the traps is not always reality-based. And I'm not an itunes fangirl particularly - it has some 'quirks' here and there that have driven me up the wall in the past - but loading epubs into apps isn't one of those quirks.
