Pad See Ew, with shrimp. This is a very common street food all over Thailand. It was my first solo attempt using fresh wide rice noodles. I learned how to make the dish in class today, making it with chicken there. My solo flight didn't crash and burn, but it wasn't a smooth ride... Fresh rice noodles are NOT easy to work with!

Prawn and feta pizza. And I'm currently trying to figure out what's for dinner tonight, as the freezer's a touch bare, we're trying to clean it out before restocking. Maybe we'll go for breakfast-for-dinner, if the hens lay today (there's a big summer moult going on, and a broody Brahma too).

I do have some slightly freezer burnt but otherwise good sliced pork fillet to do something with this week - I'm thinking crockpot all sauced up to compensate for the freezer-burnt-ness. Curry? Something else? Suggestions?

Penang Curry with pork? The Penang curry paste has a strong flavor, as does the coconut milk. It's a quick, 10 minute dish that delivers a great taste!
