New to the mobile thing

I am from South Africa, that's somewhere down under, south of the equator and somewhere in Africa.

Yes, I am a bit stuck with what to get. I have a BBQ10 Phone (I think its Android based), and have tried some of the BB compatible e-readers, but seems that they are more for Chinese speaking people.

I have great difficulties downloading from the web such as Google Apps... sort of wont let me download. It seems that I can only download from BB itself.

I have adobe reader, but it wont allow me to shift into mobile mode (to be able to read). I also downloaded 'LIBRE' but its complicated and I am to dumb to understand how it works.

So yeah, if you can assist or point me into the right direction, it will be appreciated.

PS: This is the first BB Phone I have had (previously Nokia) so I am also new to its workings. I have had it for approximately 10 months. Bought for business applications.
