Liquid Story Binder XE Free

Hi. I'm usually in the "Bargains, Freebies, and Resources" forum.

I ran across something that those of you in this forum might be interested in. It is a giveaway of Liquid Story Binder XE.

I'm not a published author and know nothing about this type of software, so I don't know if this is a good product or not. I'm just passing along the information, you can do with it what you want to.

In the description, it says that Liquid Story Binder XE is designed specifically for fiction writing. Maybe you already knew that. Anyway, here is the blurb from a webpage, which gives some very basic information about it.
Liquid Story Binder XE is a uniquely designed word processor for professional and aspiring authors, poets, and novelists.

Writing software for those who require the editing ability of a commercial text editor as well as a document tracking system.

It is for those who want the freedom to create, outline and revise but are tired of losing track of their work

At this writing, there are nearly 2 days left on the giveaway.

Here is the webpage giving much more information, and where you can request the program. You do have to set up an account which, if memory serves me correctly, involves just giving an email address and choosing a password.

I have it somewhere on a DVD disk along with other programs, but it's certainly not the only program out there that does similar jobs. Ywriter does similar work and is freeware and there is scrivener which has a 30 day trial and you can often get a coupon for (to save money) by participating in NaNoWriMo. Scrivenereven ha some how to books written about it to help the novice user. They are available at Amazon.

Given that they stopped development on this software nearly 4 years ago now (2011), the purpose of this giveaway absolutely boggles my mind.
