I double-checked on my Touch, and, yeah, that should definitely never happen, even for manually sideloaded stuff (no matter if it came from Amazon, Calibre, or KindleGen), so, gremlins?

I do intend to re-sideload any books that are PDOCs anyway, at some point.

Will check out this patch as soon as I get the chance.

I see your fix and I'll raise you a 0001-Fix-critical-whitespace-and-import-typos-in-previous.patch.txt

The good news is it works fine. The weird news is I get the same collections.json, i.e. aside from the alarming error message and the obvious inability to handle those PDOCs regardless, nothing was actually wrong?

Perhaps I just got lucky. Either way, the fix is useful.

@barsanuphe, the installer can be rebuilt with the latest kindletool-git to add Kindle Voyage support -- it is confirmed working.

LibrarianSync does not include that functionality, but you can use Collections Manager (kindlet) to nest the collections, and LibrarianSync to do all the rest of the work -- that is how I do it.

@z0mtec -- LibrarianSync is compatible, so the only hurdle is running the scripts -- and like you say, you are jailbroken.
